        Hi all,

        My case is completed on 07Sep2015 and my PD is 10FEb2014 F2A India.When i can expect the Interview date.Any thoughts?

          Did you try calling NVC to check for the same? If not, I would suggest to do so.

          Called Nvc, but no inferview scheduled for me yet.... PD dec 2013 India, F2A... Case completed on aug 27

        What does supervisor Review means ?

          It's a fancy way to say your ds-260 is being reviewed. It usually takes 30 days from the date it was brought to a supervisor attention to get a case complete.

        It looks like the predication of 3-6 week movement for F2A needs to be revised. AILA's recent check-in with Oppenheim (July 14 2015) clearly mentioned fast F2A movement should be expected.

        F-2A Worldwide. This category is moving very rapidly and is likely to continue to move rapidly due to a severe lack of demand. This will continue until demand materializes.

        To all the guys who applied GC in EB category and probably work like bonded labor for a decade,

        If you stuck with an employer for a decade, you lose the benefits of full-time employment without promotions. And recently it has become difficult consulting with constant H1 amendments for every change of client.

        To send a petition to president of US, we need 100k signatures before Sept 26 and we have less than 30% signatures. So, please take a minute to sign the petition.

        Though there is exciting news that a new category of "priority date" will come up soon that may help people waiting for a long time. There are no specifics about it yet and we shouldn't be taking any chances.

        Also note that there is another petition for extension of EAD for OPT that helps employers more, has reached 100k signatures quickly but this petition is lagging as individuals need to step in. Please check this and sign the petition.

          You could pay after coming in to the US as well but it would delay your process.

        Our PD is also in March 2014 and our NVC case is complete. I called the NVC last month and they stated that they are currently issuing visa numbers to those with PDs in December 2013. The lady on the hone said that there are no available visa numbers and that there would be a wait. Hopefully, not too long though!

        my PD is May 1 2015 (under the F2A category)- I am waiting outside the US.how does the new system benefit someone who is not present in the US during the application process?

          Unfortunately it doesn't benefit you since this new filing opportunity is only for people inside the US who will adjust status with a current non immigrant visa.

          Go to october visa bulletin and see 4.B section for people doing AOS - they created a table in which F1 cutoff date in October would be 01May09 (except Mexico and Philippines) etc. (Compare with 4.A which suggests 15JAN08)

        My PD is March 12,2014 . I just called NVC and they answered in less than 4 mins which I couldn't believe and they scheduled my wife's interview on Oct 18th . Also they mentioned that they will email me today the IL .
        Place of interview: Egypt.
