    1. It is currently hard to estimate when EB2 India could reach that date. We will have to wait for USCIS to release updated I-485 pending data.

    You have written very nice articles. My priority dates are Feb2008, EB2-India. What are my chances looks like for filing 485?

    1. Due to heavy porting from EB3 India (using up all EB2 India quota), it is currently too early to estimate a date.

    1. If you are EB1, EB2, EB4 or EB5 - you are already current.

      If you are EB3, you should be current in June VB.

    1. We are waiting for updated I-485 data from USCIS to estimate the current demand and future movements for EB3 ROW.

  7. There is not much change in pending 485 inventory from Jan 2013 to April 2013. do you know why?

    1. It depends on which category and country you are referring to.

      Tip: Biggest change is when the spillover happens.

  8. Great article. Thanks for the info, you made it easy to understand. BTW, if anyone needs to fill out a 2011 USCIS Form I-485, I found a blank fillable form here:USCIS I485. I also saw some decent tutorials on how to fill it out.

  9. I would like to file an I-485 for my brother.My petition for him is approve. The country is Philippines. His PD is Aug 2010. Is it possible for me to file that application? And Is their any chances that this is going to be approved? What is the best thing to do?
