USCIS EB I-485 Processing Statistics as of 05/31/2013

 TSC NSC National
Pending 25,055 20,716
Preadjudicated 52,330 43,877 96,247
Customer action waiting 2,419 15,593
Completed 7,704 12,504
New receipts 8,263 9,713

Current case load continues to be equally distributed between TSC and NSC. The only exception is NSC waiting for action from customer (in I-140 and I-485). The most likely reason is USCIS is waiting for response on RFE issued to these applicants.

The "customer waiting for action" column for TSC is likely to increase by few thousand cases due to huge volume of RFE issued to EB2 India (and few other) applicants.

Since USCIS goes by last receipt date, if you are going to file your I-485 (or just filed), you will be placed behind this queue (even if your PD is before these applicants). Exception is if application is preadjudicated then it would go by PD.
