F2A Category - I130 NOA2 Approval

According to latest updates, USCIS is currently processing F2A I-130 application with PD around Nov 2011.

However one reader mentioned that USCIS has approved I-130 with PD around Nov 2012. This is more than 12 months jumps from current time.

Update (July 31):

An reader mentioned that her F2A I-130 with PD of March 2013 has been approved.

F2A is expected to remain current till Oct VB. This could mean that applicants in F2A I-130 category with PD even till June 2013 could be approved in the next few months.

USCIS has done this random processing before (in EB2 category) and it is likely to do the same in F2A category. This also helps balance cases and looks good in USCIS reporting.

 If your physically reside in US, you can file I-485 anytime (as long as PD is current).

If you are outside US and your PD is around June 2013, your I-130 petition could be approved by USCIS. If I-130 is approved and PD is current, NVC will set up an interview at your home country. Please see link below for more details:
