FAMILY-sponsored categories (potential monthly movement):
Worldwide dates:
- F1: Two to four weeks
- F2A: No forward movement is expected
- F2B: Four to seven weeks
- F3: Four to six weeks
- F4: Two or three weeks
Employment First: Current
Employment Second:
- Worldwide: Current
- China: Three to five weeks
- India: No forward movement
- Worldwide: This cut-off date has been advanced over four and one half years since last spring in an effort to generate new demand. After such a rapid advance of a cut-off date applicant demand for number use, particularly for adjustment of status cases, can be expected to increase significantly. Once such demand begins to materialize at a greater rate it could have a significant impact on this cut-off date situation. Little, if any forward movement of this cut-off date is likely during the next few months.
- China: Will remain at the worldwide date
- India: Little if any movement
- Mexico: Will remain at the worldwide date
- Philippines: Three to six weeks
Employment Fifth: Current
The above projections for the Family and Employment categories are for what is likely to happen during each of the next several months based on current applicant demand patterns.
Readers should never assume that recent trends in cut-off date movements are guaranteed for the future, or that "corrective" action will not be required at some point in an effort to maintain number use within the applicable annual limits.
The determination of the actual monthly cut-off dates is subject to fluctuations in applicant demand and a number of other variables. Unless indicated, those categories with a "Current" projection will remain so for the foreseeable future.
Hi, is EB3 PHILippines will have a big jump this year 2014? Thank you
ReplyDeleteWE will have to wait for the next I-485 pending inventory. It seems like demand has increased after the 2 month jump in last VB.
DeleteWhen will f2a move forward??? Any clue??
ReplyDeleteHi Amazon
ReplyDeleteWhy do you say April-June specifically when USCIS doesnt have that mentioned in its March VB?
Thanks
The estimates by DOS are typically for 3 months.
DeleteThanks, Amazon for clarifying and thank you for all you do to the community
DeleteHi Amazon,
ReplyDeleteWhere did you find this predictions ?
I searched all USCIS but couldn't find any article.do you have any reference?
Thanks.
Scroll down to lower half of March VB and you can find it, however it doesnt say for April thru June
DeleteWhen can we see EB2 India moving forward ?
ReplyDeleteIt will never. Damn country with a damn immigration process. We are like the people who are shipwrecked in the middle of a huge ocean. Neither we can go home nor we can reach the destination. Just stuck up and hoping that someone will come and rescue us. But no one ever will.
Deleteit can only forward when they stop porting
DeleteHis predictions I think based on the 3 months cycle for visas allocations
ReplyDeleteOct-Dec, Jan-Mar, Apr-Jun,,,,, I know it's so frustrating and it's breaking the families and this country they gave millions of visitors visas and for families they put a quota non sense logic.
And they are saying it's going to retrogress in July that means F2A families are screwed up because of the non sense laws
ReplyDeleteYeah, per the latest news directly from USCIS, they are expecting retrogression around July.
DeleteTo all of u Patiently waiting I say, keep the midnight oil burning for your day will come. I have been waiting from 1992. I got too old so my parents left us behind. My process started again in April 2007 so now I can say that I am almost at the end of this torturous journey. Keep the faith u guys cause u have kept some of us silent people out there going. Will update u as to my progress. But good luck to everyone here an may God guide this journey u are on.
ReplyDeleteGood luck Jay. :)
DeleteGood luck Jay. :)
DeletePlease remove backlog from eb3 from India. We r waiting years and years
ReplyDeleteHi amazon
ReplyDeleteMy pd june 2006 eb3 india. Please remove backlog eb3 india. Other countries 2012. Why u r not moving india's date
Because its simply too many of you, why is that so not clear to you.... Other "countries", its not other "country".... go donate to IV... immigration voice, read indian voice
DeleteAny retrogression predicted in EB3 ROW for May or June VB ?
ReplyDeleteI am not expecting EB3 ROW to retrogress in May. Most likely it would remain at the same date.
DeleteMine is Follow to join category which came as E2 category. My processing is completed but getting visa is pending because of priority date. Atleast the USCIS can give temp visas for families if not for Employees. This is the most frustrating that H1,L1-dependents can go stay with family happily and GC dependents are not. The rules should be reformed.
ReplyDeletePlease remove backlog from eb3 india. My PD is June 2006. Please improve ur immigration process.
ReplyDeleteWhat is priority date because im confused
ReplyDeleteIs the priority date is the notice of receipt in uscis or is it the approval in uscis? Pls help
ReplyDeleteHi amazon..i have some question. I am now 29 yrs old single and my question is can i still be qualified of our mom family petition under f2a category?pls help for us to know if we have still the chance to touch the beautiful country of the land of the free and home of the brave.
ReplyDeleteF2a is for children below 21 years old
DeleteIn your case you will fall under f2b category and that is children over 21 years old. Under f2b an average of 10-11 years of waiting upon issuance of your PD ( priority date )

ReplyDeleteBecause until now we havent received our PD and i'm now 29yrs old..our approval petition date was on 1991 and until at this moment theres no news for us..are we still included in the CSPA?
ReplyDeleteHi my sister priority date is sept.23,2013 approved October 23,2013 you think she will still be qualified under cspa because she is turning 21 already on june 19,2014.thank you.
ReplyDeleteWhen does her petition approved?if her petition approved on or before 2001 then she is still protected by the CSPA law..and we join our prayers that this year the f2a will move. God bless.
DeleteHi Amazon.... Do you think there is a chance that EB3 philippines will be current this year?
ReplyDeleteHI Amazon,
ReplyDeleteI just want your opinion on my dilemma. I just got here in the US last March 30 under a K1 petition. I did not expect for my EB3 petition to become current this soon. I would like to ask if I can still take that job under the previously filed petition or it is already gone now that I am here on a different visa. Thanks
Hi Amazon,
ReplyDeleteMy priority date is Apr 2009 under EB2 India category. Any rough estimate when it could be current?
