If you have not done it, please remember to add your I-130/NVC/I-140/I-485 case to the GC tracker: http://www.mygcvisa.com/ tracker/
It would be very useful to understand how USCIS is currently processing cases. It would also help in estimating date movements in future VB.
We will update this table as we get more data. If you are interested, the dates above are based on following data:
- Latest I-130/I-140/I-485 Processing Statistics (see link on right side) -->
Similar to EB3 category movement, we have added a blog post for EB2 category forward movement between August and December 2013. Please click here for FB category.
Next Steps: If priority date is current and
1. If applicant is inside US, they will have to file I-485: http://blog.mygcvisa.com/2013/04/how-to-file-i-485-application.html
2. If applicant is outside US, it will be sent to NVC: http://blog.mygcvisa.com/2013/09/nvc-consular-processing-steps.html

Hello Amazon,
ReplyDeleteI have an EB2I PD of June17th,2008. From the latest demand data do you think this PD will get current this fiscal year so that I may apply for I485. Do you think the EB5, EB1 categories filling up and Eb3 porting will cause issues.
Thank you
Hello Amazon,
DeleteCould you please help me with understanding how things could go? How many visa's should there be available for my PD to be current? And when could that movement happen? Thank you.
Please see the blog post below. It has two parts. It should answer all the questions above:
Deletehttp://blog.mygcvisa.com/2013/06/eb2-india-prediction-2013-2014.html
Hi Amazon, Thank you very much for such informational posts. In regard to the 10K visa spillover that you expect this year from the FB category- Will that change over the next few months? Increase or decrease that is? And how do we calculate how many visas are needed to move the dates past June15th,2008? Please bear with my questions. Thank you
DeleteHi, my pd june 2006 eb3 india. When it will move. Unfair with us
ReplyDeleteFix immigration system. Please remove backlog eb3 india.
ReplyDeleteHey Amazon-
ReplyDeleteMy priority date is Mid Dec 2012 (EB3). According to the GC calculator
"Based on March 2014 data, your Priority Date may become current around January 2015". Are you seriously thinking that it will take 10 months from dates to move from Sept 2012 to Dec 2012? Its not that Im whining or anything because there are a lot of people who haven't gotten their GC for years but I am just asking for sanity check. USCIS did mention that there will be very little movement if any over the next few months- But Im assuming that even if dates dont move till end of fiscal year, they should start moving from Oct 2014. Please let me know if Im wrong.
There is a possibility of dates retrogressing in EB3 ROW. Remember the forward movement of 4+ years was created to build a pipeline of cases (similar to EB2 India). Once enough demand has been created, they would start retrogressing the dates, so that it does not exceed quota. The entire EB3 category has a quota of around 40,040 visas + FB spillovers.
DeleteAlso the estimates are based on 4+ months old data. Having the latest data would give a much better picture.
DeleteSince I-485 Pending Inventory as of Jan 2014 was released now will you be able to make predictions of EB2 India for upcoming months?
ReplyDeleteWe will highly appreciate it if you could help with EB3 predictions (ROW). Pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.............seems like 15,086 applications were filed..Also whats the inventory remaining...Will really appreciate your help!
ReplyDeleteI think it would be fair to give GREEN CARD to all that provided EAD during July 2007 fiasco that DOS did. It is rdiculous to wait for over 10 years just to get Green Card. Wake up DOS and do something. Its a shame that they have a backlog from 2003.
