Since USCIS goes by last receipt date, if you are going to file your I-485 (or just filed), you will be placed behind this queue (even if your PD is before these applicants). Exception is if application is preadjudicated then it would go by PD.

Hi Amazon,
ReplyDeleteWhat's the difference between Pending vs Preadjudicated for EB 485s?
thank you!
How do we know if a case is pending or preadjudicated?
ReplyDeletePre-adjudicated means the I-485 was filed, but the cutoff date retrogressed before the case was processed. In such cases, USCIS preadjudicates the case and puts it in a "waiting bin." When the cutoff date progresses past the PD again, preadjudicated (i.e. previously approved) cases are given priority.
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteCan I know how many cases are from India which are preadjudicated?
