Do you know any insight how TSC processing Pending and approving I 485 cases. Compare to TSC , NSC has started approving cases whose Date in EB 2 India is current but TSC has less to no approvals.

  2. hi amazon, i would like to ask why a prevailing wage determination is hard to get? what are the reasons why an immigrant visa application is denied? tnx! im from the phil, and was denied on my employers first attempt to apply for immigrant visa. now they are having a hard time getting a pwd. hope u can shed some light on these.

    1. There's any explanation in the letter why you would denied, may be lack of requirement.

    2. Wage determination is the prevailing wage that is offered with your job position in a certain state or location where you have applied. The denial might not meant based on wage determination, but may be there are qualified us citizen who are the same applicant as you. And they are the priority of the US Department of Labor.

  9. My fear is that they just want to generate demands so that available visas for the rest of the fiscal year won't be wasted but once it is oversubscribed, they will retrogress pds again just like what happened to eb3 china, row and mexico.

  10. I think its a huge conspiracy for EB3 India they just either want people to port to EB2 and pay the lawyers or get tired and leave the country paying all the taxes and social security behind. Its a real shame and a sham! Yes I am frustrated :)

  15. Hi! My priority date is Feb. 17,2004. I'm F1- Philippines Category btw. So when do I expect to get interviewed? We already sent all of our documents to NVC back in 2009 but they replied that we need to wait for visa number to become available. I've seen that the PD for next month is Jun 2004 and I don't want to get my hopes then get disappointed in the end.

  16. Waiting for your next month's prediction

  17. Anyone on this blog EB3 to EB2 India porters that has filed I-485 last year or prior to that received GC approvals as this category moved forward to 1 Sept 2008? Seems like Strait EB2 India candidates are getting approved but no porters so far. Please reply.

  18. Hi there! Amazon do you think Mexico F2A category will move forward a lot with the new fiscal year in October? The August VB states this regarding visa availability in the coming months: "...declining number use in the Family preferences during May and June, combined with updated estimates of such number use through the end of the fiscal year..."

To me, that says that less people are following up with their NVC process for Family category. This gives me hope that Mexico F2A will move forward, since there have only been retrogressions and no movement in the past few months.

    Thank you for your help!

  20. Every counties r taking a big movement in visa but eb3 india is just 1—2 week. Why? Do something for eb3 india please. I'm frustrated.

    1. You should understand that available visa has limit per country and there's really too much eb3 india nationals applicants, You are still lucky that you get some spillovers from unused visas from eb2 categories.
