Anyone knows when is the earliest day on which visa bulletin was released?
ReplyDeleteFew months back, DOS released the July visa bulletin on June 7. That is the earliest so far this year.
DeleteI would like to ask if the DS-260 is not yet filled up will it can cause a delay to the NVC to forward the case to the embassy?
ReplyDeletePlease see this blog post. It should answer all questions:

Has November 2013 vb been released or where do you get the above information or they are only prediction.
ReplyDeletethis is not a prediction, it has been released. But the bulletin is India centric and does not address China
DeleteI just checked the website and i dont see it
DeleteYou can see this dates on US Consulate Mumbai website under immigrant/priority date category.
ReplyDeletethat will be awesome if eb3 row keep moving forward!
ReplyDeleteSo EB3 ROW did not stay the same or retrogress but moved ahead !! weird.... good for me since my I-485 is accepted and waiting for my biometrics appointment
ReplyDeleteNov VB for India as per Mumbai Consulate website.
ReplyDeletehttp://mumbai.usconsulate.gov/cut_off_dates.html
I am sure when bulletin is released it should contain interesting comments regarding future movement for all categories. This forward movement for ROW is really good.
ReplyDeleteLooks like the bulletin is out -

Looks like the bulletin is out - can this be relied on?

Its official eb3 row 1 Oct 10 !!
ReplyDeleteits out. November 2013 bulletin.

The official VB is out as well and matches the unofficial Indian consulate version
ReplyDeleteHi Amazon, do know why on the FB, F1 to Mex, dont' moved by Nov?
ReplyDeleteVisa Bulletin date do not move forward if the demand is higher than supply.
DeleteHi Amazon - Do you think you were excessively pessimistic about EB-2 India's movement and your though it would retrogress? The bulletin doesn't even mention that as a possibility. Also, note that 2008 was the time when the financial crisis unfolded and I'm sure filings were low in 2008 & 2009..
ReplyDeleteYour category received 15,000 + green cards last few months, how much is enough? Dont be greedy. :D
DeleteHi Anonymous 1 - visa bulletin date movements are based on estimated demand.
DeleteFrom October 1, EB2 India has annual quota of 2,802 visas. If the porting from EB3 India to EB2 India continues at rate of 400 per month, it would easily fill up the annual quota. In this case, dates would retrogress few years back.
The blog post below has a good overview:
http://topimmigrationnews.blogspot.com/2013/02/eb2-india-analysis-and-prediction.html
Hi Amazon - My priority date is 29-OCT-2010 EB3 ROW. Is there any possibility that this will be current in December visa bulletin?
ReplyDeleteI read that they have demand of over 20,000, and this forward movement will probably make it over 30,000, So I personally doubt it. They might even retrogress with much greater demand. Remember the EB3 Row has approximately 40,000 visas + spill over for the whole fiscal year until September 2014.
DeleteCan you please share the link that shows eb3 row has demand of over 20,000? thx
DeleteThe latest I-485 pending inventory should be out soon. That would give a better idea of current demand. However if the data is 50 days old, it may not be very useful to estimate future movement.
DeleteHi Amazon,
ReplyDeleteI am still confused. The demand data released yesterday indicated that EB3 ROW applications exceeds the limit. Why EB3 ROW still moves forward today? Is that true that USCIS based on the Jan 1, 2013 demand data (260 cases) to justify the date for EB3ROW? If so, in the next coming months, the date may retrogress? My priority date is Jan 7, 2009 and already filed I-485 but am still worried for the retrogression. Thanks in advance.
Dude.. relax. If it were to retrogress (Which I doubt it will) it wouldn't be back to Jan 2009. Besides FY09 had less than 30K total approved PERMS.. not enough to even tickle demand for EB3ROW considering many of those 30K were for indian citizens.
DeleteYou might even get your GC well before then. I became current as of June bulletin and filed on June 3rd, got the GC on Aug 3rd. Exactly in 60 days. So I know if the date stays current, its a matter of DAYS before you get the I-485 approved. Trust me, its the BEST feeling in the world.
DeleteThanks for your all replies. I really appreciate. By the way, for the second answer, were you also EB3 ROW?
DeleteHi..Amazon my PD is June2010. i am in EB2C..is there any chance of EB2C hitting that in next couple of months.
ReplyDeleteConvert into EB3C
DeleteIt could take a long time for EB2 China to reach that date. As anonymous suggested, porting to EB3 China would be faster.
DeleteOMG our priority date is current!!
ReplyDeletecongrats!!!
DeleteGlad that EB3ROW moved 3 months ahead... I am not 16 months away from freedom :-) Any hint if that's possible to hit that data in the next 6 months?
ReplyDeleteAmazon, my priority date is aug 2004 (EB3 India). any idea, when can i expect my gc (any rough estimate) :D
ReplyDeleteHi, amazon. My priority date is on 19 Jan 2011. Do you know when will it become current? Can you update your GC calculation with latest data?
ReplyDeleteThe GC Calculator has been updated with latest data.
Deletehttp://www.mygcvisa.com/calculator
What happened to EB3 Philippines? It seems I am here for a long haul. My PD is May 2007.Is there any light at the end of this long, dark tunnel?
ReplyDeleteThanks!
Hi amazon. My priority date is on October 13, 2010. My project will be ended in the next two months, do you think I have enough time to file for I-485 if my PD becomes current for next month visa bulletin?
ReplyDeleteYou did not mention which category and country you applied in.
DeleteIf you are EB3 ROW, there is a possibility that it could retrogress in December VB. Also December VB is valid from December 1. For I-485 details, please see the link below:
http://blog.mygcvisa.com/2013/04/how-to-file-i-485-application.html
Dear Amazon, Thanks for all you are doing, Can you please answer my queston, My PD is April 2011 EB3 ROW, when do you think it may become current?
ReplyDeleteSince we do not know the number of applicants till April 2011, it is currently not possible to give an estimate.
Deletewhen do you think it will be available.
Deletedo you think Amazon that EB3 Philippines would likely leap this coming months, or reluctant to move? we're desperately waiting and that...how about giving us hope for aspirants like us.- June 2007
ReplyDeleteThe reason it moved forward by few months is because it received lots of spillovers from EB3 ROW (else they would be wasted when fiscal year 2013 closed on September 30).
DeleteSince fiscal year 2014, the quota is back to 2,802 per year for EB3 Philippines. Due to high demand and low supply in EB3 Philippines category, dates could move slowly till it receives more spillovers.
thanks Amazon...God bless!
DeleteDear Amazon, the demand is total number for I140 approved, is there a way to find out how many cases for I140 applied waiting for approve? Thanks.
ReplyDeletehi amazon..my priority date is November 24,2003.when i can get mail for the next step..
