And then my petition was approved last Feb 2014 as an underage. 1month before my birthday because my bday is March 30. and then after 2months I received a letter from the NVC and said that visa presently not available. i think its due to retrogression last may 2014. And i turned 21 last march 30, so now i am over age. What im gonna do? is my petition will be still process or i am going to be an F2B now or still an F2A Category? Am i still be belong to under age or what? Im confused and i dont know what way to no longer to wait. Thankyou! Pls answer my question amazon im just depress

If this is possible I will enroll him in a language school here in US and he will be waiting for his F2a visa be currently with me. I cannot wait anymore, this is too much. ReplyDeleteYes you can apply for F1, it is a better option to stay together, but chances of visa is less due to the petition..

DeleteNice movement for F2A a month movement per month, while they move EB2 4 years to 2009. Looks like they are slogging their a**e to get it move. Some je*ks here were taking about executive action from white house. It will take years to come into practice. I wholeheartedly support the immigration reform. But the problem is immigration reform is all about illgals getting their documents. The problems of applicants belong to family category is overshadowed by the issues of illegal immigrants. Without securing borders there's no point of immigration reform. It sounds very correct if you think from their perspective. If president take executive action then there will be a chance of government shut down by opposition again. Which is bad for economy, jobs everything. Even if he takes action, it might take another year to for law come into practice because they will have to secure their borders first. I will be more than happy if F2A won't retrogress again before it reaches August 2013 priority date. God save us all.
ReplyDeleteI totally agree with you. The problem for immigrant reform is about illegal people. We are here legally with greencard and we should be able to bring our spouse faster as Americans. Anyway is just frustrating the way that they do with us.

ReplyDeleteH1 have specialty occupations that are badly needed in the country.And to attract these highly qualified professionals, they can take their dependents with them and spend their money in the country instead of going out. Likewise with F1, they can have their dependents with them but use their money from their pockets from their own country. In short they are just like tourists which are beneficial to the country's economy, can you see the logic? What's ridiculous in there? For F2A or some family baesd, maybe many are beneficial but not all of them, not like highlly qualified professionals H1 and F! which is just like attracting tourists which can boost their economy. Try to think sometimes before assuming it's ridiculous.

Only what we miss is my sons and daughters/of US citizen/.
