    I am with EB3C, but my PD is in Nov 2012. do you think the dates would move forward in the upcoming fiscal year (e.g., starting oct or Nov of 2014)?

      Based on current data, EB3 China is expected to move forward in October or November 2014.

      Hi amazon. Do you think f2b phil will move at a similar pace as ROW towards the end of 2014 fiscal year.

      I do have an understanding of how supply and demand affects PDs, but the disparity in movement is just too huge to ignore. Appreciate your help

      F1 category is for Unmarried Sons and Daughters of U.S. Citizens:

      F2B category is for the Unmarried Sons and Daughters (21 years of age or older) of Permanent Residents:

      If you qualify for F2B category, you should apply for it.

    Hi amazon! I have a question my PD is July 2008; in light of the big eb3 jump for the philippines do you think my PD will be current this year? Because if the movement will be 4 to 6 months per month, then that qould mean mine would be current september of this year... Thanks amazon..

    Hi there Amazon

    I just started following your blog (added to my day-to-day fav web list). I am amazed (from the comments) that your predictions are very accurate. I see that you predicted Indian EB2 Visa bulletin movement will be around February 2009 somewhere in July.

    Our PD is Feb 2011. What is your best guess about our PD getting current?

    I am hoping you reply to my comment. Anyway, Thanks again for helping out all immigrants with your knowledge.

      You are welcome. EB2 Indi has a large amount of applicants compared to available quota. Hence it is not possible to estimate that far (based on current data). I would recommend reading this two-part blog post It should answer many questions:

    im waiting for interview letter for june ... my case completed already . im under f2a... my question , for example my interview is june 15. and vb release by june 10 for july retrogressed. how it will affect my case?

      No u cant because the pd is 10/1/12 which means anyone with pd till end of sept (before oct.1st) can file.

      On USCIS website, priority date definition said "if alien relative has a priority date on or before the date listed on visa bulletin, she or he will be eligible for a visa".....

      It's really confused....

      Anyone has encountered this situation?

      You will have to wait for next forward movement. If visa bulletin date is 01OCT12, it means applicants with priority date BEFORE 01OCT12 can apply.

    Hello Amazon, my father is a permanent resident. im category f2b pd 03/23/2007, I will be current soo because the nvc sent me an email they say that they sent me an invoice fee to the lawyer it says that i have to send a payment before they start my visa prossesing. I.am in the united states illegally since 1999. I have to leave the country and go to my country for my visa processing wich my country is guatemala.My question is how long do i have to wait there to get my visa and reenter to the united states. The lawyer said to me I have to wait in my country 10 years to get my green card. Is that true? What should I do please help.

    Hi Amazon, PD April 2009 EB3 Phil. Last Jan 2011, we visit again US for the 4th times but unfortunately upon arrival at SeaTac airport we were issued a 212 a 7 a i I. As per officer attended the proceeding our pending petition will not jeopardy this scenario. Is this true? Do we need a waiver or not? What kind of Waiver? Cannot see any waiver needed for our case.
