Hi amazon, my priority date is octuber 1 2013, i turned 21 years old in february 19 2014, do you think ill be changed category to fb2 Or can i get protected? how can i prevent it?
ReplyDeleteYou need to provide some more information to be able to answer your question. To start, what category and country of changeability are you in with a October 1, 2013 priority date, what visa do you currently hold, are you a derivative beneficiary of someone else's (e.g. parent's) immigration process (e.g a son or daughter)? Once you post answers to these questions, plus any other relevant details, then it may be possible to provide you an answer, or at least some guidance. Remember for an authoritative answer you need to consult with a qualified, experienced immigration attorney, and not rely on an Internet forum.

Will I be current in aug? If so how much time does USICS really need to approve? In other words how long should my date hold its place for me to get approved? I got an rfe, still waiting for mail to find out what is it for.
I will be in India in aug. If my aos gets approved when I am away, will I have an issue coming back in H1 (I have no EAD/AP)

ReplyDeleteWhat is your country and category?Are you current in july? If yes, why wait for august? If you are current in a certain month and uscis will receive your application before the first day of that month, your application will be rejected, that is as far as I know.
DeleteMy country is Philippines under category H1B ( teacher)and my priority date is march 20, 2009. Also, can we apply for I485 on our own, or do the employer and our lawyer should still comunicate about our application.
