If you have not done it, please remember to add or update your I-130/NVC/I-140/I-485 case in the GC tracker: http://www.mygcvisa.com/ tracker/
It would be very useful to understand how USCIS is currently processing cases. It would also help in estimating date movements in future visa bulletin.
We will update this table as we get more data from USCIS. If you are interested, the dates above are based on following data:
- Latest I-130/I-140/I-485 Processing Statistics (see link on right side) -->
Similar to EB3 category movement, we have added a blog post for EB2 category forward movement. Please click here for FB category.
Next Steps: If priority date is current and
1. If applicant is inside US, they will have to file I-485: http://blog.mygcvisa.com/2013/04/how-to-file-i-485-application.html
2. If applicant is outside US, it will be sent to NVC: http://blog.mygcvisa.com/2013/09/nvc-consular-processing-steps.html

F2A 1 month movevement in March VB. It's true or fake..!!
ReplyDeletefake.., it will move more than 3 months
DeleteHow do you know?
Deletemore than 3 months is true?
DeleteF2A Movement will kill the families........
ReplyDeleteIf visa cap will be changed then we will see a big jump in any category ! Hopefully !
Deletewhen this might happen? any soon?
DeleteWhy Mexico would be firts than ROW?
ReplyDeleteThis prediction is not correct. Feb visa bulletin describe F2A movement 3 or 4 week. How can Mexico got 5 week movement?
ReplyDeleteBcoz they're mexicans.",)
Delete3 or 4 weeks and probably 3 weeks. My assumption is it will go 3 weeks until July Bulletin and in July or August Bulletin, days are going to move for 8 or 10 months like they did last year.
ReplyDeleteI dont know how Mexico is first in Row! This country has a heavy demand in F2A!
ReplyDeleteYea, and they have like 3 million of illegals here in us. Now documented.
DeleteSome of you people don't follow the F2A bulletin carefully. Mexico has been moving for 1 Month and over since October. The reason is; NVC process cases on first come first serve bases. Therefore, Mexico is moving faster because, Their priority dates come first. In other words, they applied before you. The trend will change when priority date for Mexico and the rest of the World level up. By my prediction, is coming up in March when F2A for Mexico, India, Philippines, China and all other chargeability area will be 06/01/13 or 06/08/13.
DeleteMexico prediction is wrong, There is no way Mexico priority date better than ALL OTHER Countries priority date. It's impossible..
ReplyDeleteIf my priority date is current. Then how much time would it take to pass other steps (NVC/embassy interview etc) and spouse come to USA.
ReplyDeleteIS it another 3 months? or 1 month? after my priority date is current?
I heard 2-3 month
Deleteit takes 3-4 months for the complete procedure till the Interview...
DeleteFor quota based categories all fall in place at right time and it just takes one month. For immediate relative category it might take 3 to 4 months after 130 approval
DeleteMy Pd is 18 april 2003 f4 category.Hw long i have too wait?
ReplyDeletehow do i know that the visa cap will be change. they say that f2a have heavy demand in 2013
ReplyDeletethis is link that up coming visa bulletoin http://travel.state.gov/content/visas/english/law-and-policy/bulletin/2015/visa-bulletin-for-february-2015.html

DeleteNo, she cannot apply for any non immigrant visa now
DeleteSummary: H.R.213 — 114th Congress (2015-2016)All Bill Information (Except Text)
ReplyDeleteThere is one summary for this bill. Bill summaries are authored by CRS.
Shown Here:
Introduced in House (01/08/2015)
Fairness for High-Skilled Immigrants Act of 2015
Amends the Immigration and Nationality Act to: (1) eliminate the per country numerical limitation for employment-based immigrants, and (2) increase the per country numerical limitation for family based immigrants from 7% to 15% of the total number of family-sponsored visas.
Amends the Chinese Student Protection Act of 1992 to eliminate the provision requiring the reduction of annual Chinese immigrant visas to offset status adjustments under such Act.
Sets forth the following transition period for employment-based second and third preference (EB-2 and EB-3) immigrant visas:
•for FY2015, 15% of such visas allotted to natives of countries other than the two countries with the largest aggregate numbers of natives obtaining such visas in FY2011;
•for FY2016, 10% of such visas allotted in each category to natives of countries other than the two with the largest aggregate numbers of natives obtaining such visas in FY2012; and
•for FY2017, 10% of such visas allotted in each category to natives of countries other than the two with the largest aggregate numbers of natives obtaining such visas in FY2015.
Sets forth the following per country distribution rules: (1) for transition period visas, not more than 25% of the total number of EB-2 and EB-3 visas for natives of a single country; and (2) for non-transition period visas, not more than 85% of EB-2 and EB-3 visas for natives of a single country.
Provides that the amendments made by this Act will take place as if enacted on September 30, 2014, and shall apply beginning in FY2015.
Pls post the link above ! Is it already interduced or passed ?
ReplyDeleteIt is already introduced...., waiting for it to pass in the house
DeleteIt will never get passed in the house. Because John Boehner is against this immigration bill as well as most of the GOP. With a GOP majority this bill will soon be thrown into garbage bin because of Obama announced executive overreach which going beyond his limits to give work permits to millions of illegals who are here to scrounge benefits. Republicans will go to the extend of considering impeaching Obama if he favors illegals like this. Honestly speaking this bill has got nothing to do with legal immigrants immediately. This bill might help in a long run. Lets assume if this bill is passed, the first and foremost thing is to tighten the border security preventing any illegals from crossing it. That will take 6 months to one year. After that giving work permits to illegals will be next priority. Then giving green cards to employed workers. Family based category would be last to benefit from this bill. But reality is this will never get passed in the house. White house have been threatening to veto speaker's every decision for past few days. GOP is blocking the funds to DHS to execute the immigration bill. This tug-of-war will not reach anywhere. Meanwhile republicans are writing their own immigration bill /editing existing one to prevent illegal scroungers from getting green cards which will be ready in a few months. That might get passed.
DeleteThanks for your honest opinion ! I somehow agree with you about tag war but we should knew they have to do something about legal immigration Anyways , remember they don't care about us all they want is "vote" either republican or democrat should do something about it ! Hopefully new bill will turn to our favor! Let's see !
DeleteThis bill doesn't have any advantages to F2A applicants unless you are from Mexico or philippines...
DeleteIt's just increasing "increase the per country numerical limitation" it's NOT increasing VISA NUMBERSSSSS
Can you post the link pls ?
